Yes, it is compatible with the majority of standard 58 mm and 58.4 mm portafilters, including bottomless portafilters. For the best service, it is advisable to consult your supplier.

Battery & Charging

Autonomous uses a rechargeable lithium battery.

A full charge supports multiple tamping cycles suitable for daily professional use. 1.700 tamping with a single press (profile)P1 and 850 compressions with a double press P2.

Use the included charging cable and follow the instructions in the user guide. The device will shut down to protect your battery once it reaches 20%. Total recharge time is estimated at approximately 2 hours.

Maintenance & Care

Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth. The screen is waterproof so that a professional with slightly wet fingers can safely use it, but you should avoid water coming into contact with the device or its electronic components.

No regular calibration is required. The system is factory-calibrated for long-term consistency.

Warranty & Support

Yes, the Autonomous comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty or 100,000 tamps, (whichever comes first). The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. Please contact only an authorized technician from Autonomous for any technical issue. In case the device is opened by an unauthorized technician, the warranty is void.
